Supervision of pavement rehabilitation works and construction of structural elements of the Abidjan Transport Project (ATP), Ivory Coast

In a nutshell

The objective of the Abidjan Transport Project (ATP) is to reduce vehicle operating costs and travel times along the targeted road segments, while improving mobility and overall safety for pedestrians and vehicles.

The project is structured around two activities:

  • reinforcement of road infrastructure over about 32 km in the city of Abidjan (Boulevard VGE, Boulevard du Port, Boulevard de la Paix and Yopougon Expressway) and the construction of a truck parking lot, and
  • management of the transport system through strengthening the technical and managerial capacity of government agencies related to road transport by improving the know-how and techniques of infrastructure asset management.
