Celebrating Women and Girls in Science

February 14, 2024

Across our expert teams, we depend on women’s technical & scientific contributions to successfully advance project achievements. In marking the recent International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we’d like to spotlight Dr. Hasnaa Hatem, a TVET Energy Efficiency Expert in the GIZ-funded project, Improvement and modernisation of technology capacities within industries and service providers - Private sector development and innovation - PSI, implemented by our Governance and Economic Development team, together with project partner, Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest (TUS).

Project initiatives aim to support the Egyptian Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) in strengthening the competitiveness of Egyptian enterprises through the modernisation of technology capacities in the energy, food, chemical and engineering sectors through the support of selected service providers (Nile University, E-JUST and Zewail City). The project runs through April 2024.
