Director, Africa

Houseine Diabaté graduated in economics and has been employed at the GOPA Group since 2001 as Director Africa, Executive Director, Coordinator of projects, Project Team Leader, and international expert. He also managed in the recent past, as Project Director, several development projects funded by the main donors EU, GIZ, KfW, MCC, World Bank, AfDB, IsDB, in the following areas:

  • Promotion of the private sector,
  • Capacity building strategy for private and public bodies,
  • Public administration reform,
  • Improvement of the energy sector institutional framework;
  • Macro-economic support,
  • Management in New Technologies Information and Communication (NTIC),
  • Training of trainers and users,
  • Etc.

Houseine Diabaté has a thorough knowledge of many African countries and a particular professional, social, and cultural experience in Sub-Sahara Africa because he is himself originally from the Ivory Coast and he carried out several missions in all African regions. His strong knowledge of the English and French languages enables him to communicate more easily with the target group of the concerning projects.
