Wolfgang Kroh

Chairman Supervisory Board, GOPA Group

With over 50 years of experience in international development, working for the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW), Wolfgang Kroh brings a high level of expertise in the sectors of transport, energy, and agriculture to the Chairmanship of the Supervisory Board.

Previously to joining the GOPA Group Supervisory Board in 2009, Wolfgang Kroh worked for, and later on, headed up, the Sector Policy and Development Economics Department for nearly 20 years. Following his tenure as Senior Vice President and Head of the Development and Business Policy Department, he became a member of KfW’s Board of Managing Directors in 1999, with his main responsibilities being the KfW-Development Bank and the Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft (DEG). Besides his duties as a managing director at KfW, Wolfgang Kroh was also part of the supervisory boards of DEG, KfW- IPEX Bank, and Deutsche Energie Agentur (DENA).

Wolfgang has a diploma from the J.W. Goethe Universität, Frankfurt/ Main, where he studied Business Administration.
